Ruby on Rails Session Container Performance

Based on the comment to my last entry I hunted up Scott Barron’s Session Container Performance in Ruby on Rails. After reading it I had a look on my server and found that the PStore had generated thousands of session files. This wasn’t the cause of the performance issue I was having with Rails, but it’s pretty interesting nevertheless.
