B Movie Gems on Internet Archive

After I had been living in North Fitzroy for a couple of years, the local video rental place created a ‘cult’ section; I’m convinced that they just created a list based on my rental habits and used that to populate the new section.
Internet Archive has a feed of the latest public domain additions to the feature films section, and there have been some brilliant/awful films added recently, like Lady Frankenstein, Werewolf In A Girls’ Dormitory, and Attack Of The Giant Leeches. There are also some real classics, like The 39 Steps and White Zombie.
My only beef is the fact that they don’t have torrents for the longer versions of the films. They could probably save a ton of their bandwidth, and improve download speeds in the process.
77 Ways
A nice list of 77 techniques for improving your ability to learn. Although the idea that we only use 10% of the capacity of our brains has been fully debunked, there are some great finds here, like spreeder, which I used to zoom through the instructions for walking mediation, and a few others that I plan to try out.
